Free Hawaii Coupons

My niece is having too much fun studying abroad in Hawaii. She chose to spend her last year at the University in Hilo, Big Island Hawaii. Every week, I die of envy as I see her beach photos and the sun and surf in Hawaii. Her dad is planning a trip in January to visit her and was asking me for the best golf courses to play at and who to rent a car from to get the best deal.

It seems like Alamo has the best deal. Using the ID/CORP ID: 675899 and the coupon code: AD6974JDM, you can rent a compact car for about $184 Canadian where everybody seems to be charging over $250. With National, a compact car is $287 and with Avis, it goes for $296.

Too bad he is not going in December because I have some coupons for Avis renters going to Hawaii. Check these coupons out but you will have to had rented a car from Avis because you have to show your Avis keys when redeeming these coupons.

Eat Breakfast and Earn Aeroplan Miles

It used to be easy collecting Aeroplan miles every time you buy something at Future Shop. But not anymore.

Aeroplan has teamed up with Quaker Tropicana to help you earn Aeroplan miles every time you purchase a Quaker or Tropicana product. If you drink orange juice and like the sweetness of Tropicana OJ then with every carton you buy, you can earn 10 Aeroplan miles. If you prefer more tropical juices then pick up a carton of Tropicana Tropics and earn 25 Aeroplan miles. There are other products participating in this offer and you can check it out at BreakfastCentral.

Want to earn up to 1000 Aeroplan miles? Rent an Avis car from now to July 15 using coupon MCAA004 if picking up a car at an airport location or coupon MCAA005 elsewhere for 5+ days or for weekends, use coupon MCAA002 (airport) and MCAA003 (elsewhere).

Flying into YYC

I figured that there are a lot of people visiting the Stampede this year. Believe it or not, it’s just around the corner. Instead of digging their spurs in, alot of Calgarians like to leave town during this time. They find it too rowdy and rather spend it elsewhere. It’s hardly a reason to leave town, considering it’s quiet most of the year in Calgary. Why not stay and welcome the visitors?

I’ve seen Jeff Goldblum come into Calgary and stay out in Banff. He prefers the privacy and serenity out in the Rockies than the bustling oil town that Calgary is known as. If you plan to stay in Canmore or Banff, try to book a hotel online before getting here.

If you want to explore the Rockies, I recommend that you rent a car from the airport. Even if you plan on camping or gamping, a car will allow you to get to some of the hidden gems in the Rockies. You can drive out to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake and marvel at the beauty of the lakes. You can drive further west to Emerald Lake and canoe on perfectly still waters. You can drive northwest to the Columbia Ice Fields where the glacier once occupied over the highway. To save you money, we have coupons, promo codes and discounts for car rentals with Budget, Alamo, Hertz, Thrifty’s and Avis. Take your pick.

For hotels, I recommend staying at Falcon Crest in Canmore and in Banff, I like the old Fairmont Banff Springs hotel or the Rimrock. Be sure to try out the all-u-can-eat buffet breakfast at the Banff Springs hotel every Sunday – make reservations!

If you plan to golf in Kananaskis, you can stay at the Delta hotel or you can camp at several campsites in the area. Unfortunately, if you don’t already have tee times there, you can play at twilight and save yourself some money. If you are going further to explore Lake Louise and Moraine Lake, plan to stay at the Chateau Lake Louise.

Save $20 off Avis

Before you think I am pro-Budget rent-a-car, I am going to give you a couple of codes for Avis. I have already saved you $15 or more with Alamo and I have more Budget codes this week to report on. Avis gets a lot of its business with corporations so if you work for a big company, check with employee benefits to see if your company has a corporate code.

If not, here’s some codes that will save you money. Here’s a code that will give you a free single upgrade but as a minimum, you need to book an intermediate size car. This code will not work for you if you book a compact car. Use AWD # B790073 and coupon UUGA003. Note that the first code is the Avis Worldwide Discount code which will give you a corporate rate. The coupon simply gives you the free upgrade. If the coupon does not work for you, try UUGA147. One last code I am going to give you is one that will save you $20 off a weekly rental. Use B790073 as the AWD and the coupon MUGA137. Again, this works for intermediate size to full size cars.

I hope this convinces you that I am not pro-Budget.
