I played the new course out by the airport yesterday. It was called SilverWing and it is a little off the beaten path but in time, it will play out like Canals at Delacour or Sirocco Golf Club. The nice thing about SilverWing is that it has 27 holes, appropriately named as May Fly, Fire Fly and Dragon Fly. With so many holes of golf, the pace was good and we didn’t have to wait for the group ahead to clear the fairways before we hit. Before 10am on Monday thru Friday, you can get on for only $39 which is about what you pay when you play a city course like McCall Lake.

If you are still looking for a driver this summer, you might want to visit DiamondTour online. They are selling their Grand Hawk (which resembles the Callaway FT-i driver) series for $99. This includes the driver, 3-wood and 5-wood.
