We are planning to head out to Vancouver for the weekend. It’s a nice time to go, now that the weather is more stable and dry. Dry days in Vancouver are exceptional, especially if you’re headed for the beach. One of our favorite pastimes when visiting Vancouver is going to the night market. We don’t usually buy anything but it’s nice to window shop. There are the usual stalls selling cellphone accessories, stationery, pj’s, purses and computer supplies. Part of the reason we go is for the food. There are dim sum goodies and barbeque skewers of beef, pork, chicken and cuttlefish. You can smell it a mile away when you park your car in the streets because parking can be a premium.

The Promo code didn’t work for me
Hi Heidi, it turns out that this promo code does not work online. You need to call them at 1-866-372-1966 and quote them the promo code along with the offer number which is CL 130055E. The only stipulation I see with this is that it is for new bookings only. It is good for return travel until December 12, 2008.

Hi Heidi, I don’t know if you can use this promo code on seat sale prices. The best thing to do is to call WestJet at the number I gave you and ask. Checking with my supplier, I see that WestJet flies from Ottawa to Vancouver for about $788 return. If you alter your dates by a few days such as August 12 – August 26th, you can get down to $722 return.
