Calling all golfers…if you want to save some money around town (ie. Calgary), pick up today’s copy of the Calgary Sun and flip to the special golf section. There you will find a coupon good for 4 players to play at Lakeside Golf Course near Chestermere Lake. For $39 per person, you get to play the Lakeside course which has a pretty nice layout. There is water on almost 6 holes so be sure to bring lots of extra balls with you. The course may be walked but if you have never played it, take a cart which is GPS equipped.

Also in the papers, you will find a coupon to play Beaver Dam in Madden. Beaver Dam is a pretty challenging course, especially hole # 11 where you cannot see the pin from the tee box. Your second shot is a blind shot. Hole # 12 is a nice elevated par 3 where the green is pretty much surrounded by water. Aside from the golf, it is a pleasant drive to Madden from Calgary.
